- While we might not convince others we solve all problems through playing or listening to music, what is the psalmist really saying in vv3-4?
- Think of our friends and acquaintances who are louder, stronger, richer, travel further, culinary icons, have more friends, more influence, speak more languages, and ascend with little effort. What should our attitude be from reading vv5-9?
- The psalm takes seriously the issues of our lives, aspirations, careers, interests and etc. Of what we do and stand for, we might face so much challenges as to all kinds of turmoil, danger and death. Reflect on v15, how does God treat us?
- Verse 19: what do we think the “light” or “light of day” refers to?
- Think of the coming week. How might I be faithful to God? Pray for his guidance.
